KRHS Enrollment Packet
AP, LRTC & LSA Availability Update for 2022-23
2022-2023 School Calendar

Greetings Prospective Students & their families:

Welcome to the KRHS Community. We look forward to working with you.

We ask all new enrollments to complete this enrollment packet and return it to KRHS during noted business hours. If you are unable to print forms at home, you may stop by KRHS to pick up an enrollment packet-we highly recommend you call ahead at 569-2055 to let us know you are coming so that we may have materials ready for you. The entrance to the high school is under the clock tower-please park to the left side of the lane in front of the building. (School Hours 7:30AM-3:00PM)

Please note that it can often take 3 to 5 days to transfer into KRHS**, depending on the speed in which documents can be obtained.  Please note: Until we have ALL REQUIRED documents in hand- we are not able to proceed with your student's enrollment. We will work with you to make the process as smooth as possible. Once we have all documents, we will call to schedule an enrollment appointment.  We require both the parent/guardian AND the student be present at the time of enrollment-no exceptions.

To help expedite the process we highly recommend families notify the school they are leaving to send records to our attention and review the checklist to make sure you have easy access to legal documents (birth certificates, immunizations, current custody agreements, and proof of residency) as we will require these to schedule an appointment.  It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to check in on the status of documents being received. If you are not hearing from us-that is a sign the student's file is incomplete and needs your attention.

You are welcome to email Lisa Simons @lsimons@sau49.org or Linda Maguire @ lmaguire@sau49.org, or call the Counseling Office with any questions.

Tours- We are unable to accommodate tours during school hours.  With advanced notice, we can offer an afterschool tour on Tuesdays at 3PM and have limited availability on Mondays at at the same time. Please call Lisa Simons to arrange this.

**If your student is not starting at KRHS until the fall of 2023- Enrollment appointments will take place after your student completes their school year at their current school. Students must be officially withdrawn from previous school prior to enrolling at KRHS. If we have all documents on hand, including a final report card for 2022/2023- by June 9th- we can offer an enrollment appointment prior to our end of the school year- which is June 19. After June 9th- new enrollments appointments will be in late August.  If you would like your student to start school on the first day of the 2022-23 school year we will need all enrollment forms,  supporting documents,  and school records by no later than August 18th. We offer enrollment appointments on August 22,23,28- 8AM-2PM. After the 18th we will do our best, but can not guarantee first day starts due to opening of school meetings/trainings.  The first day of school for 2022-23 is Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2023.
